There is no ransom note in the two cases of Jaycee Dugard and that of Elisbeth Smart--These two wear taken as slaves,so an RN was not needed--When you look at these two different kidnappers and their wives who helped and a possibility that a similar but different type of sect committed this crime., A ransom note might be part of their cult. These two kidnappers wear one man cults , who looked for followers but didn't find any other than their wives .
There could have been such a person close to the Ramsey's --One who had more than one and maybe three agendas in the murder. One in revenge ,one as part of some kind of cult affair.
